Parents of children with disabilities such as aspergers, autism, ADD, ADHD, Down Syndrome, dyslexia and many others oftentimes have disagreements with their school districts regarding the placement, program or services provided to their kids by the district. Our law firm provides legal representation to parents who believe their kids are not being properly served. We provide a variety of services including legal representation, advocacy at CSE meetings, parent workshops and more. We handle many different issues including the right to a free appropriate public education (FAPE), unilateral placements and tuition reimbursement, disagreements regarding placement or program, the right to an independent evaluation (IEE), disputes regarding related services, school anxiety or phobia, bullying, inadequate reading instruction and many others.

We have a flexible fee structure. For those who can afford it, we provide services on an hourly basis. For those who can not afford the full cost of legal services, we negotiate a reasonable retainer and cap the fees at an amount that is fair, reasonable, and affordable. We represent many parents who can not afford to pay at all. Please do not allow your financial circumstances to stop you from contacting us. If we can help your child, we will make every effort to do so. In many instances, fees are recoverable from the school district. This allows us to represent parents who would not otherwise be able to afford our services.

We are located in Williamsville, New York near Buffalo. We provide services to families with special education issues all over New York State including Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, Binghamton, New York City, Long Island, Watertown and the North Country, Ithaca, the Southern Tier and elsewhere.
